ATK: $10 M to provide non-standard (non-NATO) ammunition for the Afghan Security Forces

ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ATK (NYSE: ATK) announced today that it has received $10 million in orders to provide non-standard (non-NATO) ammunition for the Afghan Security Forces, under an existing three-year contract with the U.S. Army.

Under the contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command in Rock Island, Ill., ATK provides supply chain management, quality assurance and logistical expertise in the delivery of non-standard small, medium, and large caliber ammunition, as well as mortars and rockets, for use by allied security forces.
